About the program leader: 

Kristin “Baker Bettie” Hoffman, based in Chicago, IL,  is a baking educator and trained chef. Kristin started baking in 2010 and became obsessed with creating the perfect chocolate chip cookie. After lots of trial and error, Kristin had developed her very first recipe, sparking a new obsession for her…baking. Kristin has worked in several restaurants prior to moving to Chicago for work as a private chef. In January of 2018, with an ingrained desire to teach baking to others, she left her work as a private chef to pursue BakerBettie online platform full-time,“morphing” it into an online Baking School where she teaches virtual classes on a variety of topics. She also teaches beginner bread and sourdough workshops in the Chicago area and is very active on social media.
