    What Is A Mexican Entomatadas?

The History of the Mexican Entomatadas?

Entomatadas (Spanish pronunciation: [entomaˈtaðas]) is a traditional Mexican dish. The Entomatades are made of a folded corn tortilla, fried in oil, and then bathed in a tomato sauce. The ingredients in the tomato sauce may vary according to the chef. You can customize your tortilla filling to include chicken, beef, pork, fish, shrimp, cheese, or beans.
Pressure cooking the chicken, beef, or pork ensures the meat is tender enough to shred or pull apart. The tortillas are then topped with more tomato sauce and garnished with sour cream, shredded cheese (queso fresco), and white onion or scallions. For a different twist, try thinly sliced radishes.

Entomatadas are often served with refried beans, black beans, or yellow rice.

While they are similar to enchiladas, the primary difference is in the sauce. An enchilada sauce is a chili pepper sauce.
