Dr. Carly Jacobs, a native Floridian, graduated from the University of Florida Dental School and completed her residency at NYU. After trading the Sunshine State for the Big Apple, she ultimately landed in Philadelphia to begin her career in private practice dentistry. While her focus started in general dentistry, she quickly discovered a passion for dental sleep medicine. Dr. Jacobs helped treat many patients with sleep-related breathing issues during her general dentistry practice, including snoring and sleep apnea. She immediately experienced these treatments’ positive impact, including the significant role of proper breathing in the body and mind.
Her passion for helping people and her belief that her patients deserve a more holistic approach led her to seek even more comprehensive training, including mentorship by some of the top chronic pain and sleep providers worldwide and hundreds of hours of advanced training and education. Dr. Jacobs finds great pride in providing patients relief from their facial pain, headaches, TMD, airway obstructions, and breathing issues, and her goal is to help every patient find the root cause of their problems, allowing them to achieve a healthy, balanced life that includes a great night’s sleep.
